FlickTandem ("we", "us") provides a browser extension and website that let you watch Netflix together with friends, with synced playback and video chat. This page explains what data we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Account information (name, email) if you create an account, via Clerk.
  • Room data: a room code, the display name you choose, and playback position/state, so we can keep everyone in a party in sync.
  • We do not track or store which Netflix titles you watch outside the context of an active watch party, and we do not sell any data to third parties.

Video and audio chat

Video and audio chat, when enabled, is transmitted directly between participants (peer-to-peer) wherever possible. We do not record or store your video or audio.
