• Webcam and voice chat cost nothing. No plan, no trial. It's the feature both major competitors charge for.
• You decide who comes in. Neither Teleparty nor Scener has a lobby: anyone with the link is in. FlickTandem holds each guest until you approve them, and shows you their name first — which matters a lot more once there are cameras in the room.
• Or use a password instead. If approving people one by one is too much friction for a regular movie night, set a room password and skip it.

Teleparty reaches further into the long tail — roughly thirty services on its paid plan, including a lot of regional ones we don't cover. It also has a mobile app and years of polish behind it, and both it and Scener let the host lock playback control, which we're building next. If you need a service outside the ten below, or you want to watch from a phone, Teleparty is the better tool today.
