Watch together, with video chat included.
Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and more — perfectly synced, with faces and voices beside the show and a host who decides who gets in. The webcam chat other watch-party extensions charge for is free here.

Host a watch party on
Everyone needs their own account for whatever you're watching. FlickTandem syncs playback and chat — it doesn't stream video.
Why FlickTandem
Built around who's in the room
Video chat that isn't paywalled
See and hear each other while you watch, in a floating window beside the show — or go voice-only. Free, not a premium add-on.
You choose who gets in
Approve each guest yourself, or set a room password. Nobody reaches the room or the cameras until you say so.
Playback that stays together
Play, pause, and seek once — everyone follows. Rejoin from the same link if your connection drops.
How it works
Three steps, about thirty seconds
- 1
Add the extension
Free, and it only acts on the streaming sites it supports. Pin it so join requests are one click away.
- 2
Start a party, share the link
One link is all your friends need. Approve them as they arrive, or hand out a room password.
- 3
Watch, in sync, together
Whoever presses play or seeks, everyone moves with them — with live video the whole time.

Questions
Frequently asked
Do my friends need their own subscriptions?
Yes. Everyone in the party needs their own account for whatever you're watching — Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and so on — or their own profile on a shared plan. FlickTandem keeps everyone's player in sync and adds chat and video; it never streams or re-broadcasts video itself.
Do my friends need to sign up for FlickTandem?
No. Guests just open your invite link and install the extension. Only people who want their party history saved need an account.
Can anyone with the link walk into my party?
No — that's the point of host approval. In approval mode every guest waits until you let them in, and you see their name first. If you'd rather skip that, set a room password instead and share it with the people you want.
Is the video chat recorded or stored?
No. Camera and microphone streams go directly between participants over WebRTC wherever the network allows, and are never recorded or stored by FlickTandem.
Does it work on something I'm already watching?
Yes. Start a party from any title you already have open on a supported service; FlickTandem syncs everyone from that point on.
What about ad breaks?
On ad-supported plans everyone gets different ads of different lengths, so we pause syncing while an ad is playing rather than dragging you to the wrong spot. Expect to nudge the position once after a break on those plans.
What does it cost?
Nothing right now, and syncing, chat and video chat will stay free. We're in early access with no paid plan at all.
Ready to watch together?
Free to start, and you decide who joins. Takes about thirty seconds.
Add to Chrome — it's freeNo account needed to host or join. Create one only if you want your party history saved.
