Terms of Service

By using the FlickTandem extension or website, you agree to these terms. FlickTandem is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any streaming service. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
FlickTandem synchronises playback and adds chat between people who are each watching from their own account. It does not stream, host, decrypt or re-broadcast any video. You must have your own valid subscription — or your own profile on a shared plan — for whichever service you use FlickTandem with, and you must comply with that service's own terms.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where local law sets a higher age) to use FlickTandem. If you create an account, the details you give us must be accurate.
Acceptable use
Don't use FlickTandem to:
- harass, threaten, or expose anybody — including over camera, microphone or chat;
- transmit sexual content involving minors, or any content that is illegal where you or the other participants are;
- share content you don't have the right to share;
- submit display names intended to abuse, impersonate or mislead a host reviewing a join request;
- spam join requests, or attempt to circumvent a host's decision to deny you;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or try to access rooms or accounts that aren't yours.
Hosts and rooms
Whoever creates a party is its host. Hosts decide who is admitted, either by approving each guest or by setting a room password, and may deny any request for any reason. Sharing an invite link or a room password with someone is your decision and your responsibility — anyone you admit can see and hear the other participants' video chat. When the host leaves, the party ends for everyone.
We don't monitor the content of parties, and we aren't responsible for what participants say or show each other. Use the host controls, and only join parties with people you trust.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using FlickTandem at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, or where we reasonably need to in order to protect other users or the service.
Service availability
FlickTandem is provided "as is" and "as available" during this early stage of development, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't promise particular uptime, and features may change or be withdrawn.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, FlickTandem is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, in which case only the exclusions permitted there apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. We'll change the date at the top of this page, and give notice in the product where a change is significant. Continuing to use FlickTandem after a change means you accept the updated terms.
